Geophysical Department is FSUE “Arktikmorneftegazrazvedka”’s  structural subdivision.

Geophysical department provides for as follows:

• Complete and qualitative performance of geophysical research complex in the wells (logging) as well as perforating-explosive operation in the wells being drilled and in active wells;   well operation research in the normal course of well drilling in accordance with technical instruction requirements, geological-technical orders, projects and other regulatory and ruling documents.
• Delivering source materials of well operation research and logging for the Geological Department to make an operative decision and prevent contingencies.
• Interpretation of the obtained geophysical materials, issuing hard copies, field survey sheets, well research findings, recommendations for well drilling and testing.
• Issuing license, passport and permissive documentation in order to operate using explosives and  radioactive materials.
• Carrying out the procedure, stipulated by the rules with regard to explosives and radioactive materials maintenance, record-keeping and application.

For logging, the downhole equipment is used with KARAT-P recording system, for well operation research, SIRIUS station is used.
